The Table19 owners, Joe and Kathryn Evans, are a dynamic couple with a wealth of experience to leverage in making Table19 a huge success. The Evans’ moved to Vermont from Dallas, Texas in 2013.

While he is no gourmet chef, Joe brings decades of management experience to the table and is the quintessential “eatie”. 

 

Joe began his career in software development. Before completing his undergraduate degree, he developed and sold highly valued and proprietary software applications to a number of notable global Fortune-50 companies and pioneered software systems in the commodity trading space, utilizing computer-aided software engineering technologies. Since that time, he has consulted with some of the world’s largest multi-national organizations in corporate and technology strategy. 

 

Joe has held executive management roles with several large national and international consultancies. He is a recognized expert in corporate strategic planning as well as a frequent keynote speaker, and seminar presenter. Until recently, Joe has worked with clients on corporate strategy and published weekly articles about strategy planning, read by thousands of CEOs and executives. 

 

Joe earned his BA degree in Information Systems and Quantitative Sciences and his Masters in Business Administration at Texas Tech University.

The Table19 vision has become reality. Table19 is now a destination restaurant in the region — known for providing a comfortable and elegant dining experience Vermont. The Table19 menu features locally sourced fresh culinary creations. Table19 partners  with local farms and producers to bring the freshest possible seasonal ingredients into their kitchen in support of their year-round contemporary American menu.

Kathryn is the quintessential “foodie” who began cooking at the age of four with her parents.  As a young adult, Kathryn pursued classes in French pastry preparation. She discovered her love of Asian cuisine (specifically Thai and Vietnamese) in college. As an adult, Kathryn leveraged these passions in her first food service business. She owned and managed a successful catering company in Dallas where she was both a personal and party chef. She has worked throughout the globe and brings an international flare to her cooking.
